Prof. Dr. Ela Sibel Bayrak Meydanoğlu’s Study Receives “Best Paper Award” at an International Conference

A scientific paper co-authored by Prof. Dr. Ela Sibel Bayrak Meydanoğlu, a faculty member in the Department of Business Administration at the Turkish-German University, has been honored with the Best Paper Award at the BiCAB Conference 2026 held in Germany.
The paper, entitled “AI-Enabled Multimodal Science Communication: Reducing Cognitive Load and Enhancing Comprehension of Complex Research,” was presented at the conference organized on 22 May 2026 as part of the 8th International Week hosted by Hochschule Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSBI).
The study investigates how AI-enabled multimodal science communication approaches can facilitate the understanding of complex academic research. In particular, it focuses on reducing cognitive load and enhancing the effective dissemination of scientific knowledge to broader audiences.
The study, which achieved a significant accomplishment by being awarded the “Best Paper” prize by the jury, was prepared with the contributions of Prof. Dr. Ela Sibel Bayrak Meydanoğlu, together with Prof. Dr. Mete Çilingirtürk, Prof. Dr. Paul F. Langer, Prof. Dr. Margareta Teodorescu, and Research Assistant Hilmi Berkay Abbasoğlu.
