Head of Department message

In a rapidly changing world where digitalization is becoming increasingly prominent, the importance of a modern business education that keeps pace with the times has never been greater. As the Turkish-German University Business Administration Department, our vision is to prepare our students as sought-after leaders and entrepreneurs of the future business world through a theoretical and practice-oriented educational approach. Based on the academic and cultural collaboration between Türkiye and Germany, we offer a unique learning experience through a curriculum designed to meet the needs of the modern business world in line with our vision. Our goal is not only to provide students with a profession but also to nurture them as socially responsible, innovative, and solution-oriented individuals.

Our department provides a multilingual education at international standards, tailored to individual student needs and talents, supported by a strong and qualified academic staff combining Turkish and German expertise. By leveraging the strengths of faculty members from various countries and cultures in our courses, we equip our students with a global perspective and intercultural communication skills to excel in the global business world. Through our double degree program, which plays a crucial role in providing international experience and which has repeatedly yielded successful graduates, we enable students to study in both Türkiye and Germany, earning diplomas from two universities.

While providing a solid academic foundation in theoretical business concepts, we also emphasize practical experience through mandatory internships, vocational education, and various collaborations with the private sector. Additionally, our curriculum equips students with analytical and innovative thinking skills and provides experience in creating sustainable business models. Through our undergraduate and graduate programs, we offer the resources and guidance needed for students to pursue either professional or academic career paths. As part of the Turkish-German collaboration, we take pride in seeing our graduates thrive in prestigious positions both in prominent companies in Türkiye as well as on international platforms.

As the Business Administration Department, we bear the responsibility of preparing our students for the future, guided by the principles of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of our Republic, along the path of modernization he envisioned for our nation. On this journey, as the Turkish-German University Business Administration Department family—distinguished by its curriculum, academic staff, and network of stakeholders in international academic and business circles—we are determined to continue making a difference through continuous improvement.

Best regards,

Prof. Dr. Müge Klein
